Jeff Fryzel started in Real estate in the construction management side of the business where he dealt with residential and commercial projects. Jeff has been self-employed since 1988, and has owned numerous businesses in construction management, consulting, electrical contracting, landscaping, and was part owner and operator of Northwoods in St. John, one of Northwest Indiana’s largest restaurants from 2006-2013.

Jeff became a licensed Broker in 2013 with McColly Real Estate, and established the Jeff Fryzel Team in April 2014 (Now known as The Connected Group). Jeff and his team work with buyers and sellers in residential, commercial, land acquisitions, and sales, in both Indiana and Illinois. With Jeff’s extensive background in new construction, the team has specialized in representing Builders and Developers that provide high quality products to their residential buyers. Jeff is definitely the guy to go to with any questions regarding new home construction. In addition, Jeff and the Team have created a comprehensive listing program that they believe is the best in the industry, which provides a template for Sellers. This program teaches Sellers how to prepare their homes prior to implementing the marketing and listing plan. The goal is to sell their home at the highest possible price in the least amount of time.

When it comes to Buyers, there are many factors that come into play such as: market knowledge, negotiation skills, and a reputation of being tough but fair. When Jeff brings a Buyer to a showing, the sellers can be assured that the Buyer is pre-approved and qualified to buy. Jeff educates his Buyers throughout the entire process.

Born in Chicago, and raised in the town of Dolton, Jeff relocated to St. John, Indiana, in the early 2000’s. Jeff was a 10 year member of the St. John Volunteer Fire Department and has served as a board member on the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority (SSCVA) as well as The Tri Town Safety Village. Jeff is also an active fundraiser for numerous non profits. Jeff’s talents include Negotiations, Problem Solving, Construction, and Marketing. Jeff is a top producer and regularly included in the elite President’s Circle at McColly Real Estate. With over 75 million dollars in sales and 100’s of transactions, Jeff is among the top producers in the region.

When Jeff isn’t doing real estate, you can find him spending time with his three daughters Jessica, Jillian, and Jojo, along with his new grandson, Oliver. Jeff enjoys live music, fishing, and spending time with close friends.

Hello future clients & friends! If you’re here, you’re curious about me. If you’re like me, you probably don’t want to read a bunch of statistics, accolades, and a puffed up resume. What you really want to know, and need to know, is if I’m the person who can help you with your real estate needs.

Short answer: Yes. (Probably) I’ve been licensed in Indiana and Illinois since 2019, and just recently became licensed in Wisconsin. I say ‘probably’ because I’m always learning something new, and I tap into the resources of my Team Partners when working in new types of situations. I’ve been on the Listing and Buying side of a variety of transactions from Condos, to New Construction Homes, even farm land.

I take pride in being approachable, professional, and friendly. If you need a quick real estate brain, or a strong dose of honesty, you’re in the right place. Loyalty to family, clients, and friends is one of my core values.

On a personal level, I'm pretty good at baking (ask me for a cupcake recipe!) and I'm not too shabby at photography. I love to travel & have lived on 2 continents, in 2 hemispheres, and in 6 states. A true Midwesterner, I settled in to NW Indiana in 2016, not too far from my Michigan roots (go State!)

In 2018, Sandie Sullivan began her real estate career specializing in new construction.
